Training Paths

Extra training, without the maze

Your membership includes all regularly scheduled classes. If you want something more focused — a deeper dive, a smaller setting, or a different emphasis — here are your options.

Nothing here replaces the regular schedule; it just gives you a few clean ways to zoom in when you feel like it. Some people use these as an on-ramp, some as a tune-up, some as an occasional “I want to finally fix this” tool.

Start with a focus

Same room, same people. Different emphasis.

BJJ

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu

Grappling with a focus on control, escapes, and problem-solving under pressure. Gi and No-Gi.

Karate

Okinawan Karate

Structured basics, striking fundamentals, partner work, and practical application. Clear progression without theatrics.

Self-Defense

Self-Defense

Practical scenarios, boundary-setting, and techniques you can apply without becoming a “self-defense person.”

Choose a goal

Any goal can use any format — this is just a way to orient yourself.

New

I’m new.

You want a gradual on-ramp, clear structure, and a plan that doesn’t assume you already speak fluent martial arts.

  • 1:1 private lesson to get a heads-up on what to expect (and to make the first few classes feel way less mysterious).
  • Beginner-friendly workshop to slow things down, ask questions, and get extra reps without feeling behind.
Stuck

I’m stuck.

You train, but the same problems keep showing up. You want to isolate one thing and make it stop being problematic.

  • Small group session to drill a specific position with live feedback (high reps, low chaos).
  • Workshop focused on one theme (for example, escaping bad positions or sharpening fundamentals) to break the loop.
Faster

I want to progress faster.

You want feedback, accountability, and a way to focus your training so improvement is accelerated.

  • Recurring 1:1 private lessons to build a simple plan, track progress, and correct habits early.
  • Series of small group session with a shared goal (friends, pod, or event prep) for structure and concentrated attention.

Pick a format

Private lessons, workshops, and small group sessions can all support any focus or goal.

Private lessons

One-on-one sessions for targeted progress: build a plan, troubleshoot a position, sharpen fundamentals, or get comfortable fast.

Workshops

Theme-based sessions with a clear concept, focused drilling, and time to troubleshoot. Great for everything from "I'm brand new" to “that one thing I want to finally understand.”

Four classes meeting once a week

Workshops are scheduled events. If something’s listed, it’s happening.

Small group session

A small group working on a shared goal. Catered to your specific interests. Useful for friends, pods, or focused tune-up blocks. Available for business and private events.
